JOLIET, Ill. – A judge limited Drew Peterson's ability to give media interviews Wednesday after the jailed ex-police officer phoned in wisecracks to a Chicago radio show last week.

Will County Judge Stephen White ordered Peterson's lawyers to give him a list of family, friends and attorneys that Peterson calls from jail. Peterson must get permission to call somebody not on the list, White said.

White also ordered that all attorneys in the case must notify him and the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of any interviews and send copies of press releases. "If you are going to do an interview, I would like to be informed (beforehand) as to the time and place," White said.

The publicity threatens the ability for a fair trial, said Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow, who said he has limited speaking out on the case. "This is the place to put a cap on it," he said of pretrial publicity. "I'm trying to protect the jury pool here."

JOEL BRODSKY IS A LIAR

Attorney Joel Brodsky claims he has no control over his client and has advised him not to speak to the media. Brodsky is a blatant liar that he has no involvement in Peterson's outlandish actions. Regardless, Drew is going to do what Drew wants.

When Peterson did the recent Chicago morning radio show "Mancow & Cassidy", the DJ stated that "Joel" had contacted them to say that Drew would be calling in. In fact, these were his exact words:

"Joel tells us you've been writing jokes, and we are still waiting."

"Your lawyer, Joel Brodsky said you were going to call collect and you would have some comedy for us."

MORE LIES

Peterson called the "Mancow & Cassidy" show last week from the Will County Adult Detention Facility and cracked jokes about prison showers, a "Win a Conjugal Visit with Drew" contest and the death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio.

Peterson and his attorney, Joel Brodsky, have made scores of television and radio appearances and a small army of television trucks is often parked outside Peterson's home. Both he and Savio's family have hired publicists.

Brodsky countered that he needs to be able to talk to the media, saying publicity might prompt potential witnesses to come forward with relevant information.

So does Brodsky want a fair jury? That's what strikes me as funny...after all this media hoopla and shenanigans...now he's worried about a tainted jury pool and will possibly seek a change of venue?

This story has reached across the United States, especially the State of Illinois. Go ahead and get a change of venue, Brodsky. No matter what county you request, any potential juror has seen and heard about Peterson and his "media-whore" nonsense, while calling his sick humor "his way of dealing with stress".

CONCLUSION: JOEL BRODSKY IS AN IDIOT

From what I've learned over the past year, Brodsky doesn't sound like he has both oars in the water. What if Brodsky continues his more-than-mediocre representation, and Peterson appeals on the grounds of "inadequate counsel"? Wouldn't that be a bitch!
