Drug dealer shootout at Parral Chihuahua Mexico 14 dead.
The Chief of Investigation Services of the General State Department of Justice José Martínez Quiñónez was murdered today by an armed group outside his home at Parral Chihuahua.
The killers were waiting for him in a car outside his home early in the morning, waiting for him to go to work.
Where is the protection for Police Chiefs? Why are they asking for political asylum at U.S? Are we really winning the battle against drug dealers?

My daughter has friends at Parral Chihuahua and she was surprised to see them all online early saturday night and the reason of it was the violent shootout that took place saturday evening, forcing citizens to stay home for their own safety.
The shootout among two rival gangs whose leaders are Tacho Puertas and Kiki Barba took place in spite of Mexican Military Forces in Chihuahua, drug dealers are moving to other less protected cities like Parral Chihuahua a small beautiful city not used to this kind of violence.

PARRAL, Chihuahua State - A confrontation between groups of rival narco-traffickers took place yesterday afternoon on the "Parral-Villa Maramoros Road," in the south of the state, near the borders with Durango and Coahuila (states), and left a total of 14 victims on both sides."
This is a very disturbing story, because it comes against a backdrop of rising violence in Chihuahua state, and especially Ciudad Juarez, which has seen an unbelievable 200 murders so far THIS YEAR.
Why doesn't the Mexican state just crack down on crime and re-establish control over all these "pandilleros" and "narcotraficantes?" Could you imagine the worldwide headlines if 14 people died in a shootout in London, England? And yet, when it happens in Mexico, it doesn't even get reported until the following day, and not even as a lead story, since it happens so often.
Come on, Mexico. We can do better than THIS.
