Drunk Woman taken to Hospital

There was a call to 911 early Saturday morning that a woman appeared dead on the side of the road on El Dorado Ave. in Pacoima, California. Foothill Police Department initially responded to the scene and discovered the woman was alive but under the influence of alcohol and had an injury to her arm so paramedics were called to the scene.

Two fire trucks were soon on the scene and began treating the woman for cuts to the back of her forearm and elbow. A fire fighter at the scene said that the woman had been drinking all night and had passed out on the curb and a person walking by thought she might be dead because she wasn't moving so they called 911.

An ambulance was called to the scene and the woman put up a struggle with fire fighters as she did not want to goto the hospital but she was finally put onto a stretcher and taken to a local hospital to be treated for her wounds.
