We in fact missed the magic moment when they turned the lights off..! I was really expecting to see a lot more darkness then there actually was. Yet, harbour bridge did look very different during the hour and opera house was mostly in dark as well. I am not quite sure if this actually saved much energy last night (thought according to statistics, last year it did), I guess maybe one hour per month or even per week, per day is something we can do to make a real change.
