Eden Prairie MN Named by Money Magazine as the Best Place to Live 2010 Winner

Eden Prairie MN is named the best place to live in the United States because it is is a family community and has a 'dynamite economy'.

Eden Prairie has some major employers in town such as Fortune 500 trucking company C.H.. Robinson, Starkey Labs and the Minnesota Vikings. With a population of 64,000 people, their unemployment rate is 5.1% and it is nearly one percentage point below the U.S. rate.

While it doesn't have much of a downtown, there's plenty of outer beauty: from gently rolling hills to 17 lakes that residents flock to year-round for swimming and ice skating. Town parks are laced with 125 miles of running, hiking, and biking trails.

The residents of Eden Prairie MN are considered some of the healthiest people in the U.S.
