Ted Kennedy Dies of Brain Cancer RIP

Sen. Edward Kennedy has died due to his ongoing illness and has lost his fight with brain Cancer.

The 77 year old died at home after losing his fight.

Brother of JF and Robert Kennedy his greatest fight in Congress was to bring about healthcare reform in the US.

With a career that has spanned decades, and to the angsts of fellow Democrats, Kennedy would often utilise his bipartisan feelings to get legislation through even if it meant adopting a position with political enemies.

(CNN) -- Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy, the patriarch of the first family of Democratic politics, died Wednesday at his home in Hyannisport, Massachusetts, after a lengthy battle with brain cancer. He was 77. "We've lost the irreplaceable center of our family and joyous light in our lives, but the inspiration of his faith, optimism and perseverance will live on in our hearts forever," a family statement said. "We thank everyone who gave him care and support over this last year, and everyone who stood with him for so many years in his tireless march for progress toward justice."

The death was announced Wednesday morning in a statement by the Kennedy family.

“Edward M. Kennedy – the husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle we loved so deeply – died late Tuesday night at home in Hyannis Port,” the statement said. “We’ve lost the irreplaceable center of our family and joyous light in our lives, but the inspiration of his faith, optimism, and perseverance will live on in our hearts forever. We thank everyone who gave him care and support over this last year, and everyone who stood with him for so many years in his tireless march for progress toward justice, fairness and opportunity for all. He loved this country and devoted his life to serving it. He always believed that our best days were still ahead, but it’s hard to imagine any of them without him.”

US President Obama will speak tomorrow about Sen. Kennedy's death.

GANGE

Edward M. Kennedy was person of great understanding, a grounding rod, an inspiration, a negotiator par excellence. He was a man that set example by his actions to both sides of the isle. He was a true believer in the ideals and essence of democracy. He felt deep connection to all people and showed that he by his hard work and dedication that Edward M. Kennedy "represented all the population" not just a few.
We need more people like him, walking the isles of Washington in the true spirit of Democracy that includes all people.
He will be greatly missed.

Edward Kennedy was murdered.  He was poisoned at the Obama Inaugural banquet.  It was probably the final "bio-hit" of many that surreptitiously preceded it.The sophisticated murderers of the 21st Century use biological attacks of various pathogens (including metals, chemicals, virus and bacteria, such as protozoan - which can lead to cancer) to murder, which are surreptitiously placed in food and beverage by bribed and often idealogically corrupted food preparers.  Medical screens do not pick up the bio-assaults because they are not acute enough.  It's the culminating effect that  does the dirty work for the Gangster-Terrorists.  Quiz:  Who else was bio-assaulted at the Obama Inaugural Banquet??.        (Tip:  Another "Old Guard Senator" was opposite the aisle.)

I've lived through John F Kennedy, Robert F Kennedy and Ted Kennedy. I often ponder what this country would have been like had JFK finished his term and RFK had been elected, and then Ted.

This is truly the end of an era.

Thank you for the tribute to a person who had a vision for the disenfranchised and marginalized who, unlike himself and his properous family,  grappled with poverty, disabilities, and had the door of the American Dream closed to them.

As usual, appears to be many liberal spinners on this citizens news source, as most others.

As one who lived through the Kennedy eras, that family was one of the most controversial ever, and brother John was the one that started these interventionists wars that have now gone on for over 40 years, and bankruptced this nation.  And Ted's skeletons and conduct after Chappaquiddick cannot be erased by his subsequent "service" in the Senate.  He showed his true liberalism even then - while fighting supposedly for the poor and oppressed, he set himself up as "privileged" in negotiating for a lesser charge than what occurred in order to make his pact with the devil back then - and citizens from all the political spectrum actually outraged at the time.

While it is understandable somewhat his conduct after his brother's death less than a year before, he dealt with it in a way that eventually cost one woman her life.

So spin all you want liberals, but Senator Kennedy would not be behind this health care reform of Obama's in the slightest - since it involveds placing all Americans health care records on a federal databases, and he was also a privacy advocate in such matters - just imagine what a political tool that could be.

And although suffering since diagnosed last May, brain cancer actually usually has a longer survival rate when treated than pancreative cancers, which are less than a year.  So I do wonder somewhat on the timing of this death, and how he is now being used in his death also for political agendas.

Rest in peace Senator.  Whether the devil finally got his due or not, for the loss now suffered by your immediate circle I can certainly extended my heartfelt sympathy and compassion.

But if ever there was a time to "move on" from the Kennedy era and legacy, which has progressively brought us to where we are today, it is now.  And the founders were not "liberals" at all, but created a nation they hoped would be "conserved" in their original intent and form of government.

Which wasn't socialism.
