MUSSOORIE, 13 Feb: Congress MLA Rajesh Juantha from Purola constituency is a man on a mission. He was here to unite all leaders of the Rawain Jaunpur community on the stand of putting the community under the central list of OBCs.
At a press meet conducted here on Thursday, he stated that till the time a non-political forum was not formed and all the politicians and concerned people united under one banner, the results would not be achieved. He added that, if the State Government sent the proposal to the Centre, he will fight for its approval in his own party. He further said that the time had come to wok in unison as their children had suffered long enough.
Critical of the present BJP government in the state, he attacked BC Khanduri and said if the government was sincere in the matter, why did it not send the proposal to the Centre?
Juantha also said that the issue ought to be looked beyond any political bias and all concerned should work for it in united manner till the goals were achieved.
Former Nagar Palika Chief Manmohan Singh Mall also said that a joint effort in this regard would pressurise on the Government, be it the Congress or the BJP.
Juantha will also meet political leaders of other parties in Doon.
