The bodies of eleven passengers from Air France Flight 447 were identified: ten victims were Brazilian, one was a foreigner of undisclosed nationality, according to Brazilian authorities.
Brazilian officials have revealed Sunday that eleven bodies of Air France Flight 447 passengers have been identified using dental records, fingerprints, personal marks and DNA analysis. To date, fifty bodies have been recovered from the crash site by search and rescue crews since the location of the crash that killed all 228 passengers on board on June 1 was determined. Among eleven identified victims are ten Brazilians: five men and five women, and one male body of a foreigner. The families of the victims have been notified and will receive the bodies of their loved ones for burial. The identities of the identified passengers will not be disclosed in accordance with the wishes of their families. For the full passenger list of Flight 447, see here.
Earlier, it was reported that Air France would pay out $24,000 USD for each victim to their families. The plane has still not been found, neither were the aircraft’s black boxes.
Eleven of the 50 bodies recovered from an Air France jet that plunged into the Atlantic three weeks ago have been identified by fingerprints and dental records, Brazilian officials said Sunday.
The bodies were identified as "10 Brazilians and one foreigner," officials in the northeastern Brazilian state of Pernambuco said in a statement.
Identification was initially being attempted using fingerprints, scars, surgical or dental characteristics, and tattoos on the bodies.
If those failed, DNA tests were to be carried out in a Brazilian police laboratory in Brasilia based on samples taken from relatives.

I am glad to know that never existed a flight as such 447, I say it because the history teacher 40 years ago come to class room saying : "no Jew die at WWII from Romania" the nex hour of history on the following week the teacher repeat again the same thing.
Last year I went to South Beach Miami Florida USA hollocast Museum and what on Romanian map was written that 342,000 Jews die at WWII so this teacher was saying white lies.
During the communism the country was ruled by french, germans ,austrians , hungarians all kind of junk of europe, so do not tell me that ever existed a flight as such 447.
