Elton John to give Clinton benefit concert

New York (ANTARA Newsa) - Elton John is to give a solo benefit concert for Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, the flamboyant British artist announced Monday.

Titled Elton and Hillary: One Night Only, the concert will take place on April 9 at Manhattan's Radio City Music Hall.

"I'm not a politician but I believe in the work that Hillary Clinton does," John was quoted by DPA as saying in a statement announcing the fundraiser.

"I'm excited to support Hillary by performing at what will be a truly memorable night."

Tickets for the fundraiser start at 125 dollars. (*) end
