Empire State Pride Agenda Organizes to Win Support for GLBT Equality
Last year we brought more than 1100 people from all across New York to make sure that our elected officials in Albany saw first hand the power and determination of our community and our allies. This year will be even bigger—be a part of this historic day.
Hundreds of New Yorker's will be travelling to Albany, NY on Tuesday, April 29th, to garner support for legislation needed to protect Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transgenders (GLBT) and their Families, including support for the "Dignity for All Students Act", passed again by the Assembly with a vote of 130-9, yet repeatedly stalled in Senate. Supporters are also being urged to call or write their state Senators to convey their support for GLBT Equality.
