Shadow Attorney General Trevor Moniz noted the stark difference in statements from Ms Cox and Mr Burgess gave in response to Mrs Matthews' two latest reports.Moniz described Ms Cox as "weak and hopeless", trying to give the impression she's in charge but powerless to improve the poor governance legacy left behind by Dr Brown.He also said there remains a backlog of reports waiting to come out of the Auditor General's office, the Heritage Wharf project, TCD, Coco Reefs and Port Royal, all corruption scandals shoved under the carpet. .

Dear Sir,
I guess I will never understand the minds of some people and their way of thinking. Take for instance the story in The Royal Gazette last week about the leaked report concerning the lightening at Global House. In reading the blogs in the comment column of The Royal Gazette, there were people who were against this leaked report and felt that it was wrong. Here's where the off base thinking comes in. It was wrong to leak this report but nothing was said by these same people about it being wrong to put people's lives in jeopardy with cheap, inferior lightening at a very expensive price. Their only concern was the exposure once again of the Progressive Labour Party Government's way of "doing shady business"! When it comes to leaked reports, well, I wish someone would leak more reports on matters such as:
n The $800 million in funds that are not ready to be audited
n The real deal on the Dockyard wharf
n The Emissions Centre
n The Berkeley School fiasco
n The Uighur deal what did Bermuda get for them or who got what for them
n Why Bermuda has not had a Royal Commission of Inquiry…..
n Don't forget the numerous questionable Government contracts that have been issued to friends and family ... etc etc etc.
Leaked reports? Yes, leaked reports the more the merrier because that is the only way the populace is going to know anything about what goes on or what has gone on with the PLP Government. This Government does not know the meaning of transparency, inclusiveness, or truthfulness. You ask questions and all you get is no comment, or no answer at all. I know there are more issues that we need leaked reports on, so maybe someone can help me out here by taking up where I have left off and name other questionable and shady deals that have been conducted by Government. To the Leaker, you are a champion and a life saver, so bless your heart and let us have more! Just think, if you hadn't leaked that report, we would never have known the people working at Global House were working in an unsafe and health threatening environment. And to think, the only thing that is important to some people is the fact that this was a leaked report. Amazing!
