Erik Estavillo files million dollar lawsuit against Warcraft

Erik Estavillo filed a million dollar lawsuit against World of Warcraft maker Activision Blizzard for the numerous health damages caused by Warcraft.  Estavillo blames Warcraft for causing him to suffer from OCD, Agoraphobia, Panic Discorder, depression and Crohn's Disease.

In his lawsuit, Estavillo contends that the Warcraft game is filled with illegalities, such as the game's slow pace.  Activision Blizzard deliberately designed the game so that the characters "[take] longer to get where he or she needs to go,".

Estavillo's bizarre lawsuit also includes two celebrity subpoenas that would support Estavillo's alienation from the world.  Winora Ryder was chosen because of her shared interest in J.D. Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye. It qualifies her to "explain the signifcance of alienation in [the novel] and. . . how alienation in [it] can tie to alienation in real life [in] video games such as World of Warcraft."

The second celebrity cited in the lawsuit is Depeche Mode founder Martin Lee Gore, who is considered by Estavillo to be an alienation expert.  He is "sad, lonely and alienated, as can be seen in the songs he writes."

This isn't the first time Estavillo has filed a lawsuit against a video game company. His previous lawsuit against Sony was due to the pain and suffering he experienced after being banned from their online mode of Resistance: Fall of Man.  His lawsuit against Sony was thrown out of court.
