Spam King Eddie Davidson has committed suicide after first killing his wife and daughyter after "luring them with gifts".

BENNETT, Colo. (AP) — A 16-year-old who survived when her escaped-convict father fatally shot his wife and a younger daughter told investigators the man lured his family into a sport utility vehicle with promises of a gift and a final goodbye, according to a document released Friday.

Eddie Davidson, 35, a convicted spammer who escaped a minimum-security penitentiary, committed suicide Thursday after killing his wife, Amy Hill, 29, and 3-year-old Bailey McDaniel.

Davidson's teenage daughter, from a previous marriage, told investigators that Davidson fired a shot that grazed her neck but that she escaped by zigzagging as she ran away, according to an affidavit from the Arapahoe County sheriff's office released Friday. Her account was documented by a deputy as she was rushed to a hospital.

An infant boy, about 7 months old, also survived the attack. He was found strapped in the back seat of the family's SUV. The identities of the surviving children were not released.
