I was hired to cover an event for the Special Olympics last night held at the NY Historical Society on the Upper West Side. Notable people I met were some of the Kennedy family, Scott Hamilton, Tim Shriver, the president of Iceland, and a few atheletes who will be competing in the upcoming Special Olympics.

It was also a chance for me to try out my new D80 which I bought Sunday.
