A massive jackpot in the EuroMillions now belongs to a mystery winner is in Spain and the win marks a new record for the lottery.  The mystery winner is now the biggest single winner in EuroMillions history, an honor previously held by Dolores McNamara of Ireland.

The seven winning numbers were 04, 23, 24, 29, 31 and the two "Lucky Star" numbers were 08, 09. The EuroMillions lottery is only 5 years old and is held across nine European nations; the United Kingdom, France, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Austria.

The 126 million Euros prize was announced after five winning numbers including two bonus "Lucky Star" numbers werer drawn and matched to a ticket sold in Spain.  The EuroMillions mystery winner beat odds of 76 million to one to take home the record setting prize.

The ticket, which had all seven winning numbers, was bought in Spain.

If the ticket belonged to a single person, not a syndicate, it would be the largest EuroMillions win.

The lottery, which takes place every Friday, pools stakes from nine countries. The main jackpot is rolled over if there is no winner.

Tickets are sold in the UK, the Irish Republic, France, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg.

I never surprised on not announcing that he/she won the jackpot. This is for security purposes. If I won the jackpot I'll be doing the right thing. This is to protect me and my family.

How long he'll become a mystery? Maybe now people will not know who he really is but sooner or later media and other interested people will surely find him. Is there any update on this mystery winner? I think he did this to protect his personal interest and not to let his life in danger.
