If enough people complain all in a rush it will make a difference. Save Troy Anthony Davis. More people use now public than have signed the petition, so word cant be as out as it could be. For those that dont know; mr Davis is an innocent man on death row. Convicted solely on witness statements those witnesses have since retracted their statements and have said that they were coerced by the police. There is another suspect in the case, he is one of only two of the original nine witnesses that haven't retracted their statements. Call for justice. Sputnic, I will flag this to get attention for your plea, but I believe its not my right as a Brit to tamper in US law this is up to those that are governed by that law to ask for clemancy. There is good news of a tempary suspense of sentence.

Sorry I can not help any further but I must commend you for your compassion and I am glad UK has banned the death penalty and the president of the philippines where I live has a permanent suspension.

Thanks Babelfish. It would definitly be better if the citizens of the USA took a stand on this one but I am a citizen of the world and think international pressure could play a part here. Lets hope everyone signs the petition, it couldn't hurt anyway!
