Disgraced former Gov. Rod Blagojevich was sentenced Wednesday to 14 years in prison after making a final plea for leniency, acknowledging his guilt and saying, “I am unbelievably sorry.”

Blago definitely is taking a ruff ride. The judge could have shown some consideration for maybe good behavior while in prison to reduce the sentence. 14yrs is a long time for his wife and children to endure.
