Taliban second in command captured

Seems the Pakistanis have taken  Mullah Omar into custody sometime near the end of March. The news is just getting out. CIA and Secretary of State Clinton not informed.

Through key intelligence sources in Afghanistan and Pakistan, I (Brad Thor, author) have just learned that reclusive Taliban leader and top Osama bin Laden ally, Mullah Omar has been taken into custody.

Makes you wonder why the Pakistanis kept it a secret.

For me its just rumor, because how this is possible, if  Pak forces has captured such a important  leader of Taliban and did not inform  to her close ally of global war on terrorism. On the other hand if such kind of arrest been made, this ultimately has created big hew and cry among Taliban.

So its just rumor and nothing else.

Maybe they don't know where to put him. Any place in Pakistan or Afghanistan has been proven vulnerable. so they're keeping it under wraps.

Gitmo? what a sh*tst*rm that would raise.

See the discussion on the doubts on Hot Air. lol

I wouldn't dismiss this story yet.

Pakistan has denied this, yet just think about what they're thinking about if the news got out to the Tali-bans. a veritable storm of suicide bombings in retaliation.
