The head of the Air Traffic Organization at the Federal Aviation Administration resigned Thursday morning amid recent reports of several controllers sleeping on the job.
Hank Krakowski submitted his resignation to FAA Administrator Bruce Babbitt, who said he accepted it.

This move coves after the third air traffic controller fell asleep on the job. You'd think that working with swarms of jumbo jets would be stimulating enough.

Why did HE resign? The air traffic controllers who fell asleep should have resigned. Thank you, Former President Ronald Reagan for another act of pure stupidity. (Firing all the qualified, professional air traffic controllers years ago. It was never reported that they fell asleep on the job.)
