Facebook Single Status Leads To Murder Of Hayley Jones

Hayley Jones, 26 years old and mother of four, was stabbed to death by ex-boyfriend Brian Lewis, 31, after changing her relationship status on Facebook from married to single.

Jones' children found her strangled and stabbed at home in Cardiff on March 12, ten days after her facebook status change. Brian Lewis had told friends that he couldn't stand losing her to another man. Hayley Jones had recently started expanding her network of friends, and had created a profile on Facebook that she wanted to keep secret from Jones.
