American politics is very dirty, each candidate try's hard to get the dirt on their rival its starts at party level then expands to Republican vs. Democrate level. truth, propaganda and sheer lies why - because there are rich pickings at the end of the race and they are supplied by corperate America once the corrupt politican sells his or her indoctrination and cons the public into believing he or her are the best choice.
On the eve of their second presidential debate, McCain and Obama released TV ads accusing one another of untruthful attacks. Both are essentially accurate, though each tells only half the story.
McCain's ad cites Obama spots that have falsely accused him of supporting a 50 percent cut in Social Security benefits, that twisted his words about deregulating health insurance markets and that falsely accused him of opposing stem-cell research.
Obama's ad says McCain is resorting to "smears that have been proven false." It quotes news articles contradicting Palin's accusation that Obama is "palling around with terrorists" and calls that attack an attempt to distract voters from economic issues.
We won't attempt to assess which side is more deceitful, a task that would require subjective judgments about the degree of untruthfulness and the relative importance of each misleading statement. But, sadly, each side is correct to say the other has used false attacks.
Analysis TV spots released Oct. 7 by the McCain-Palin and Obama-Biden campaigns each accuse the other candidate of untruthfulness. Both were set to run on national television in the hours prior to the second of three scheduled presidential debates between Sens. John McCain and Barack Obama.

The debate of course is over but the dirty tricks will continue untill they are all played out. When USA has a clean election we will know then and only then corruption has been eradicated and clean honest citizens are running for the seats of power. It will never happen on my watch or yours....

Be careful about factcheck.org as Obama was on the board of the Chicago funded group with Ayers who was funded by Annenberg which is part of ACORN which Obama was a lawyer for. Obama is deep in the Chicago political machine. He would like to hide it but in the next 27 days it will be put in the frontkine if the debate

That maybe so but from my center point political position the actual article seemes a fair balance of facts. It shows the dirtyness of politics on both sides of the fence. None of this political indocrination get to me after many years of analysing politics and things, I have learnt to take things with a pitch of salt.

Half of you people don't even know what Acorn really is, or who Ayers really is. Just keep getting your talking points from Bill Orally, and Rush "Oxycontin" Limbaugh. It's helping the Obama campaign more than you know.. hahha
Educate yourselves on how the GOP deceived you in the last two elections on the Acorn issue. And how A.G. Gonzales fired attorneys because they wouldn't lie to cover up the GOP's false claims of voter fraud and voter manipulation in '04. And yet, the GOP continues this tactic.
I find it hilarious... You people nitpick over NON-FACTS, NON-ISSUES and not the REAL issues... Because, it's all you have. Because you know McCain is a major failure when it comes to real issues. Or is it you don't want to talk about your Messiah #2 Palin doing (and being charged by a bi-partisan review) in exactly what she is campaigning against? Some change there.. haha.
