This year Michael Crighton died. I searched my bookshelves and I found out that I bought and read quite a lott of his books. So although I like to think of myself as someone who loves books with beautiful proze, heartfelt emotions, somewhat more feminine books if you like, I’m in fact a hardcore fan of the so called Techno Thriller! A typical example of: “Show me your bookshelves an I will tell you who you are.”

Michael, thanks a lott! You spiced up my life with fastpaced, very readable, well researched, though somewhat nerdy books! I loved everyone of them! (PS: And thank you for E.R.! I still watch it. Can you believe that?)

Only a quote from Maharishi would be fitting and inspiring here.
"Existence, life or Being is the unmanifested reality of all that exists, lives or is. Being is the ultimate reality of all that was, is or will be. It is eternal and unbounded, the basis of all the phenomenal existence of cosmic life. It is the source of all time, space and causation. It is the be-all and end-all of existence, the all pervading eternal field of the almighty creative intelligence. I am That eternal Being, thou art That and all this is in its essential nature That eternal Being."

Thank you Maharishiji for teaching so many hw to connect with themselves, the Self, Being.

Jai Guru Dev!!

This is my very small Michael Crichton collection; I was sorry about his leaving us, as "The Andromeda Strain" was my first "hard" sci-fi (or should I say Techno thriller?) novel.

Sir Edmund Hillary - Died at the age of 88

Renowned New Zealand mountaineer & explorer. This 2.3m bronze statue of "Sir Ed" was installed outside The Hermitage Hotel at Mt. Cook in 2003 looking out to the mountains he climbed.

When I look at the statue of Sir Ed, I can feel how '"connected"" he is with the mountains, thus could not resist taking this interesting photo.

I drew this portait out of respect for Sir Arthur C Clarke.
He continues to influence my thoughts, even though, sadly, he has left this world.
Peace,
John Molnar.
