The Fat Politician.

The fat politician strikes again! The leaders published their list of maximums regarding their individual expenditure a while back, and I published it on a website I write for, and have to share with you all what a greedy parliament the British people have. It isn’t new news, but disgusting all the same. I could not believe my eyes when I read it in the Times newspaper a few months back, and have to share with you the knowledge of where the moneys from the taxes the British people pay are ending up.

The list of items goes something like this, (now remember, these are expenses which I think are luxury items, and not things which you or I, most likely could not afford ourselves, or even need).

1 £10,000 for a new kitchen

2 £6,000 for a bathroom

3 £750 for a plasma screen tele

4 £750 for hi-fi equipment

5 £2,000 for furniture sweet

This price list is classed as acceptable according to the “John Lewis” list. (And we all shop in John Lewis don’t we?) Apparently they were used as a pricing structure because they were voted top of all retail shops.

This list continues: £1,000 for a bed, £250 for a coffee table, £600 for a dining room table, £500 for a dressing table, £795 for a sideboard. etc .etc.

The “parliamentary second homes allowance” means that members of parliament can claim nearly £22,000 a year to fund their own second homes, when many of us cannot even afford one home, let alone the plasma screen television. Also apparently, M.P.s can claim £400 a month for shopping without having to turn in a receipt for it. (To spend on mistresses and prostitutes no doubt, seems to be the fashion at the moment. Feels good to know the leaders are having a glass of wine and a hooker on us).

Opinion.

I really don’t understand why the greedy buggers have to have these unnecessary expenses paid for by us in the first place. Surely if they can afford a second home then they must be able to afford to furnish it themselves. Especially after the recent piss take of a budget. They must be having a right laugh at us mugs for letting them get away with this. These figures will be published all over the place and I know that nothing will be done about it because no one is likely to stand up for what is right and what is reasonable. especially the toffs of the country, keep us poor and keep us down, we’ll tip our hat to you in the street and call you sir, but why you aren’t looking we’ll be spitting in your nice cup of tea.
