FBI on scene of bank robbery in northwest Reno

Reno police confirmed a bank robbery occurred at a Bank of America in northwest Reno, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation is on scene.

According an eyewitness account, police stopped traffic and searched the trunks of cars near the intersection of McCarran Blvd. and Seventh Street in Reno shortly at about 12:30 p.m.

Customers were being turned away from the Bank after the incident.
