These people are living in an open field. Some live under plastic sheeting on the ground, others under make shift tents or shelters cobbled together with sticks, plastic backs and bricks. The ablute in the open field and wash in a nearby stream. The open field is in the middle of an urban area in Pretoria called Marabastad.
