The Fifth Summit of the America -Drummit2Summit. What was suppose to be a peaceful protest highlighting Cuba’s exclusion from The Fifth Summit of the Americas and other pertinent issues nearly turned ugly as riot police was called out to deal with our peaceful protest. We were protesting using drums to represent each country.

Sure sounds interesting, Rhea. Were you at the Summit? I think NP members would be interested in learning more about the riots from eyewitness accounts. Do you have any pictures to share with us?

I posted some photos. I was at the IV Peoples' Summit and The Drummit2Summit where the riot police came out. In addition I was at the pray service(prayering for the environment) in Claxton Bay on Sunday. My Facebook site is open and there are photos. I posted some here. I am still very emotional about this event. It was my first experience with Riot police.We had permission to hold this event.
