A big book on a fascinating subject. However frustrating some of his current stances may be (e.g. Zimbabwe, AIDS), his contribution to South Africa's liberation and democratic transition are undeniable. And this deeply-researched book goes a long to explaining his thinking.

Clearly not the whole story, and there is no doubt more to come, but I'm glad I read it.
