The body of the gunman behind the death of four people at a grocery store in the Sello shopping centre in Espoo, Finland as well as his ex-girlfriend who was later found in a flat has been found by authorities. The shooter was identified as 43-year-old Ibrahim Shkupolli. Shkupolli is responsible for the death of three men and two women, all of whom worked at the Prisma grocery store.

Authorities were first notified of the incident, Finland's third major shooting in the past two years, sometime around 10:08 a.m. local time on Thursday, December 31, 2009. Following the intial shooting at the grocer the gunman was seen headed towards another store, inciting a major manhunt, the evacuation of the shopping centre, and the barring of trains at the nearby station.

Police believe their was a "domestic motive" behind the rampage.

"The four victims in the shopping centre were, in a way, outsiders. It looks like the incident is linked to the fifth victim," Chief Inspector Jukka Kaski told a news conference.

"She seems to have been the gunman's main target and the whole shooting is tied up with the relationship between her and the gunman," he added.

Police in the area confirmed that, following the rampage,  Shkupolli returned home and turned the 9mm pistol on himself.

Pity he didn't turn the gun on himself before he went out. We just had a similar incident here in the UK with a man shooting a woman and her 4 year old daughter dead 4 weeks after she ended their relationship.

Some guys just can't take no for an answer, what a sad world we live in.
