Nothern of Sri Lanka is on the way to normality and helding the First post polls. The results will show how the civilians, mainly Tamil ethnic, accept the each Politicale parties such as TNA , UPFA (Rulings party) or UNP the main Opposition party without any directions.

The first elections in Sri Lanka since the civil war ended in May are being held in the Tamil-dominated north.

The government has described the votes in Jaffna and Vavuniya, as well as in the southern province of Uva, as a step towards normality in the country.

Update

Voting for the Uva Provincial council, Jaffna Municipal Council and Vavuniya Urban Council ended at 4.00 pm. The department of elections said that counting will commence around 8.00pm
