Five Levies force khyber Agency personnel injured in bomb blast

Five Levies personnel injured in a road side bomb blast in Landikotal. The road was planted near main raod  on pak afghan high way near sheikwal area of Tehsil landikotal. Political adminisitraion Officials confirmed.

Political Administration sources said that in first remote control bomb the vehicle of Khasadar force line officer  Haji Abas Ali was targetted  and slightly damaged when he was on routine petrolling on pak afghan high way. No personnel of khasadar force was injured in the blast. Sources said .

When the first IED(Improvised explosive device ) bomb blast was occurred levies force personnel reached on the spot to to provide security to khasad force but as they reaced the place another planted bomb blasted injuring five personnel of the force. Political admininistration sources said

The injured personnel were  Hawaldar Zia-ur-Rehman,Zermat Sher,Ghufran alias Imran,Fazleemullah and Mohammad Sher. They were shifted to Agency headquarted hospital for treatment from where one among the personnel was shifted to peshawar hospital due to his seriouse condition.

Political administration sources confirmed that some suspected persons were arrested in the search operation in the shekhwal area and the arrested persons have been shifted to Landikotal lock up for investigation.

Abdullah Ezam group of militants claimed the responsibility for the bomb attack. A spokesman of the group while talking on phone from an unknow location told media men in landikotal that those who are providing security to NATO oil tankers will be  target with such bomb blasts.
