Was this simply a mechanical malfunction or human error? Should this plane never have been allowed to leave the ground in such weather as the officials are being criticized for? As CBC stated in their article, “Officials have ruled out terrorism as a cause of the crash, without elaborating…” but after our Christmas underwear bomber would it be a surprise?

Speculations still soar as to why the Boeing passenger plane that fatally crashed into the Mediterranean Sea during a routine flight out of Beirut’s stormy coast last Monday. In the upcoming days, many questions may soon be answered as the located flight recorders are pulled from the waters of the Mediterranean and analyzed.
