Florida family recovers cash from money hungry beagle

When it comes to eating, Arnie, a 10-year-old beagle, is not finicky - much to his Clearwater, Fla. family's dismay.

In fact, just a month ago, the ever-hungry pooch decided to help himself to a pile of cold, hard cash, stashed inside of a purse, which was meant for his human sibling's swimming lessons.

Amazingly, today most of that cash has now been recovered by Arnie's family.

According to Sunday's publication of Bay News 9, Arnie's family "followed him around relentlessly," for about a week to collect the "processed" cash which Arnie was passing.

In a move which would shock many, the family not only collected the eliminated bills, but they taped them back together and returned them in a plastic bag to a bank to be exchanged for "clean bills."
