Forbes College Rankings 2009: West Point, Princeton Top List

Forbes Magazine has released their college rankings for 2009. The magazine ranks the schools that give you the most bang for your buck. Topping the list is the United States Military Academy in West Point. The school gives you a world-class education provided you're willing to fulfill your military commitments.

Princeton University ranked second while the California Institute of Technology came in third. Harvard, which is widely considered the most prestigious university in the US, ranked fifth.

You have to be kidding me that the University of Pennsylvania and Cornell didn't make the list!  Many of the above schools are primarily liberal arts, "old boys club" colleges that don't match the academic programs of not only Penn and Cornell, but barely that of Penn State or WVU.  This list is ridiculus.  How many Rhodes scholars go to Colby College?

Drowning in Debt

It has been proven that successful people are successful no matter where they go to school.  Organic chemistry is no different at Harvard than it is at a public university.  They do not hold the secret formula to success though the name might be a good wedge-shaped toe for a foot in the door.  Save your money if you know you have a brain and/or work ethic.
