they "require" the mormons to donate? first thing, its not "the mormons" .....that is derogatory nickname and if you have any respect, you could at least call us by our proper name. We belong to The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter day Saints...sometimes it is abbreviated and people will say, "members of the LDS church" or Latter-day Saints. Second, you have no idea about any of those "powerful mormons in utah" and you dont know who they are and what they do....get the facts first and at least be accurate in what you are trying to do...you make yourself sound so uneducated when you say things like that.

It wasn't a COMMANDMENT you idiot. It has to do with what ALL the members believe. We aren't blind sheep who don't think for ourselves. We aren't brainwashed. We have values an beliefs that just so happen to be for traditional marriage. The end. This was stupid and is in no way the way it really went down. I was never forced or scared into donating anything. Had we been "forced", don't you think the Church could've sucked out a LOT more than 22 million dollars out of 13 million members???
