East Kalimantan (Borneo), one province in Indonesia, has been anguished by white smoke which hampering people's eyesight; normal eyesight just reach 5 to 9 kms.

The smoke appeared by quite huge forest fire from nearby province such as Middle Kalimantan (Borneo) and from East Kalimantan itself. And as a matter of fact, there are 668 hotspots in East Kalimantan that was uprised by extreme dry season since this couple weeks.

Not only troubling people's activities such paralysing city's airport and traffic scheme, smoke also treatening people's health, especially increasing risk of breath problems, asthma and other infections. In this situation, local authorities have announced the "ALERT 2" mark for environmental status and until now they're preparing anything important to overcome any negative impacts from this occasion.

In the other side, this extreme dry season also raising the rate of sea water intrusion. So, the salty water can reach and disturb fresh water intake. The worst effect will be deficiency of fresh water's production.

p.s. sorry for my bad english.
