The number of homeless and the number of people panhandling was a little shocking to me as a newcomer to the Denver area. Coming from the east coast from areas like NYC and DC, I was surprised to learn that the number of homeless almost seemed comparable.
Of many of the homeless and panhandlers, this gentleman was the only one that struck my nerve. I gave him a few dollars, but the rest went to the meters...
