Last July 2007 here in the Philippines the "White Rabbit Creamy Candies" was issued a recall order due to its Formalin content along with other products. They denied this allegation but testing it again due to China's Milk Scare found it also POSITIVE of melamine content.

HONG KONG—A Chinese snack has been pulled from Hong Kong shelves after health authorities said Wednesday it contained dangerous levels of the chemical at the center of a toxic milk scandal in China.

White Rabbit Creamy Candies, made by Shanghai-based Bright Food Group, contained more than six times the legal limit allowed of the industrial chemical melamine, the Centre for Food Safety said in a statement.

Yes. Come to think of it, I enjoyed this chewy candy when I was still in elementary. Good thing my mom did not want me eating too much sweets.
