Glenn Beck Agrees US Needs Another Terrorist Attack?

The former head of the CIA's unit to find Osama Bin Laden is suggesting the United States should be attacked by Bin Laden to bring about political change.

The highly controversial remarks were made by Michael Sheuer on Fox News on Tuesday night.

Michael Sheuer was head of the Bin Laden unit at the CIA under Bill Clinton and GW Bush and now apparently believes that the only hope the United States has is for Osama Bin Laden to kill a large amount of Americans with a major weapon.

" The only chance we have as a country right now is for Osama bin Laden to deploy and detonate a major weapon in the United States. "

Michael Scheuer is a man with a score to settle.  He resigned in 2004 because he thought his superiors were not pursuing Bin Laden as aggressive as he would hve liked.  He became frustrated with his superiors.  Maybe sometimes adult supervision is a good thing.

Did they not already do that in 2001? They may want to change tactics, I am not sure this could work twice.

Then again it was done many times in the last century alone and in by many leaders and many Nations as well.

Seems to work every time.

The man is totally correct.

If bin-Laden used his brain well, then he would wait to put together the best arsenal he possibly could and deal us a crippling blow that would put us into a situation from which we could not recover except over decades, if that.

Bin-Laden's original plan was much, much greater than what 9/11 became. A smaller, less successful hit would actually immunize us by tearing away the veil of sleep that our elites, left and right, have over their collective minds.

The next country to get hit will be France, though, because of their attitude over the burkha.

What is his aim? to remove Obama and get another non-democratic Bush in charge who expands the power of the Federal Bureaucracy and curbs the Civil Liberties?

Wow  Michael Sheuer was head of the Bin Laden unit at the CIA under Bill Clinton and GW Bush. So 9/11 was their work...

The reason he is able to and has successfully attacked US soils is because we are no longer a threat to him. We are weak here. We have compromised so many policies and changed direction so many times. That coupled with the fact that our governing body no longer has the support of its nation, it's no wonder our country is no longer seen as the force it once was. We have proven time and time again that we will not deal with the real matters. We will not seek and destroy those who wage war against us. And we continue to be told that because of these threats we are to be stripped of our freedoms. We've had ample opportunity to capture and/or kill him and we never do a thing.

Now I live in the US and wouldn't go so far as to say we need to be attacked again but short of desperate times I don't see much change here. Just wait a minute, our government will fabricate some new threat/attack and everyone will rally for a month or so.

This AH is toatlly out of reality. He could probably get the mosaud to do his bidding because Bin Laden sure as hell doesn't have the nucelear capability or the delivery system (inercontinental missle capability) Or maybe he is keeping something from us. To me this is scary, for a man who was in such a high post in our government to support somthing like this is absurd. What has happened to the American patriot?
