Former Thai Prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra wow to go back to Thailand.

In 2006, Thaksin was deposed in a military coup and convicted in absentia for a conflict of interest. Now, it seems he still gain popularity in Thailand. Surprisingly, Thai Interior Minister Chaovarat Chanweerakul said Monday that nearly 4 million people have given their name in opposition to the campaign by the red-shirt movement to seek a royal pardon for this former prime minister.
