It's not about being a muslim or not, but a psychopat-murder who got his mind all screwed emanating fear all of his life then baam, today - we saw a gruesome reality of what he really is capable of.. The only question remains, Now that he is alive? Shall we expect the unexpected? I wouldn't be surprise if a week from now a tabloid will report "Ford shooter bites the dust" detailed sources: Fort Hood Shootout: Not about War against religion but a Psychiatrist gone wild
at 16:46 on November 7th, 2009
I disagree. Prove it. Just before going to Iraq, he kills fellow soldiers. Yes, I think he is nuts, but if he had been another religion, or, if his psychiatric training was actually worth something, this would not have happened.
His religion and his useless psychiatric training are both at fault.
This is not the first incident of a Muslim in the armed forces or retired from the armed foces acting this way reacting this way. This is at least the third such incident.

Absolute guesswork and offensive to boot. You have zero evidence for any of that except your bias against both. Had he been a Jung and Jesus aficionado would you have condemned him the same way - I doubt it
at 17:33 on November 7th, 2009
Offensive to your anima-possessed politically correct take on things, right outta' Berkeley, the East Bay, no?
Your reaction is offensive. All you have to do is disagree. Do you know how to do that?

Offensive to your anima-possessed politically
Sorry you pop-psych is off again, but then again it generally is..Look up Wittgenstein and world view and appreciate how narrow yours is by trying to understand only within the confines of Jung's thinking.
I disagree when someone states a rational opinion.
When sometimes types racism, bigotry, homophobia or attempts to bully...
I object.
Bigotry should be met head on - regardless whatever the root problem that causes it.
at 17:51 on November 7th, 2009
Prove the case for bigotry. If I substitute "Christian" for "Muslim" and trashed the US, you would agree with everything I said. LOL.
at 17:56 on November 7th, 2009
No, and therein is the difference between our positions
I don't assume the shooter in Orlando was religiously motivated, and is someone accused him of that in the same manner, then yes I would term that bigotry too.
I draw no conclusion for motivation predicated solely on race, region or sexual preference. There is evil among us and it takes many forms. not just those opposed to our own individual biases

Jung and Jesus did not ever advocate killing infidels and people who do not think like you do. Absolute absurdity.
LOOK IN THE EYE OF A MONSTER AND HAVE THE BALLS TO NAME SOMETHING WHAT IT IS
at 18:31 on November 7th, 2009
Jung was closely associated with the Nazis
There have been one or two killed in the name of Jesus - I seem to have a vague recollection of the Crusades for a one
I actually do have balls
People kill in the names of their gods. It is a sad byproduct of religion and idolatry..which if they are not the same are extremely closely related

do some more research. I know exactly what work he did and it certainly was not to help the bastards.
The crusades were a very long time ago. The New Testament DOES NOT TEACH TO KILL NONBELIEVERS!
at 16:56 on November 7th, 2009
He taught the Koran instead of giving psychiatric lectures. He was a true believer. Here is the story.

You know I have to say something here, the discussion of Hasan's psyche or religion, I think is totally inappropriate on this thread. This is a post of a victim's list.
at 18:38 on November 7th, 2009
focus on the victims and their families please

I apologize ACP - your point is well said and appropriate, This discussion belongs elsewhere

The wounded list on every new site is missing at least one name: James Armstrong. He is a soldier from Maine who was shot twice. He can be seen in this picture taken today at the memorial. He is with his wife, Roxanne. news.yahoo.com/nphotos/Fort-Hood-Shooting/ss/events/us/110509fthoodshooting#photoViewer=/091111/480/98cc3bce76df4fef89189610fb5aaa83
