Although I don't celebrate, my husband and his family do, so I thought I'd post a photo to honor the Chinese/Vietnamese Lunar New Year. I admit that I had trouble coming up with an idea for this. I don't have any Chinese lanterns, tangerines, or cherry blossoms but I did remember that we have a Dracaena plant, which is known as a "fortune plant" in Chinese/Vietnamese culture! So I took the " li` xi" (red envelopes filled with money) that my husband gave to my kids and me, put them inside the plant, and snapped away.
