Fox News' Bill Sammon Admits Lying About Obama & Socialism AUDIO
During the 2008 presidential campaign one Fox News executive repeatedly tried to smear Barack Obama with charges of “socialism.” Watchdog group Media Matters has uncovered audio that indicates Fox News Washington managing editor Bill Sammon was just engaging in what he called “mischievous speculation.”
In 2009, Sammon told an audience aboard Mediterranean cruise sponsored by a right-wing college that his 2008 attempt to link Obama to socialism was “a premise that privately I found rather far-fetched.”
“Last year, candidate Barack Obama stood on a sidewalk in Toledo, Ohio, and first let it slip to Joe the Plumber that he wanted to quote, ‘spread the wealth around,’” Sammon said. “At that time, I have to admit, that I went on TV on Fox News and publicly engaged in what I guess was some rather mischievous speculation about whether Barack Obama really advocated socialism, a premise that privately I found rather far-fetched.”
During the 2008 campaign, the then-Washington deputy managing editor repeatedly suggested that Obama had socialist tendencies.

I believe the President has socialistic tendencies and so do I.
1. I want affordable healthcare all Americans, one way or the other.
2. I want energy independence and in the mean time, I want the government to take over the energy industry, especially all natural resource energy sources.
3. I want all workers to have the right to organize into labor unions.
4. I want teachers to be valued as much as high paid professionals and managers.
5. I want to eradicate poor from America.
Does that make me a socialist? If it does, that's what I want.

By now, most people have used Google to research the ownership of Fox News. Top owner is Rupert Murdoch. Second wealthiest owner is SAUDI prince Alwaseed. Legal, of course, within our country's cherished capitalism. But as Americans, we cannot expect Fox News to put FIRST the betterment and the success of OUR country. Oil, oil, oil only...follow the money. So why would any American put faith in Fox News? With just a little studying we can all uncover truth. Shining light on a subject is The Best disinfectant.
