Fox News' Chris Wallace Lies to Defend Rush Limbaugh VIDEO

On Fox News, host Chris Wallace blatantly lied when he falsely claimed that Rush Limbaugh never said he wanted President Obama to fail, but rather he wanted Obama’s “policies” to fail. However, Limbaugh never said “Obama’s policies.”

WALLACE: I do want to point out though just as a point of information, that Rush Limbaugh says, and I think if you read what he says, he wasn’t saying I want the president to fail. He was saying I want his policies, his agenda to fail and that he disagreed with them and thought they were bad for America.

Here are Limbaugh’s exact words, the words “Obama’s policies” do not exist:

Liberalism is what’s gotten us dangerously close to the precipice here. Why do I want more of it? I don’t care what the Drive-By story is. I would be honored if the Drive-By Media headlined me all day long: “Limbaugh: I Hope Obama Fails.” Somebody’s gotta say it. I hope he fails. And that would be the most outrageous thing anybody in this climate could say.

Is this a prank? you shamelessly headline this post with a false accusation and then prove its falsity IN the post...

This is insanity...

The text you posted has Limbaugh saying he hopes Obama's policies of liberalism fail. You didn't even bother to crop it to just "I hope he fails" so you can accuse Wallace of saying something untrue. You provided the context that references the stated hope of failure, yet lie about what is in front of all of our eyes.

This is the defenition of Orwellian...

Limbaugh has never said he hopes "Obama's policies" fail. he has repeatedly said he hopes "Obama fails." You cannot prove that I posted anything in error.

You will never find Rush Limbaugh saying "I hope Obama's policies fail." NEVER.

You're simply parroting GOP talking points, like Chris Wallace, and trying to spin Limbaugh.

You neglected (conveniently!) to include Rush's words just before his "exact words"! You're mincing words when you point out "his policies" were never said by rush. But that is exactly what he said in another way. He did not say He hopes Obama fails. He did say however, that if socilism is what Obama is seeking them he hopes he fails. Stop playing semantics to make one of the few honest journalist on the planet, Chris Wallace, look bad. have you no shmame?! Well I guess you don't becuase liberals never do.

Mincing words? Rush Limbaugh is on the air 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. In all those weeks, he has not once said "I hope Obama's policies fail." He has said "I hope Obama fails" numerous times.
