Fox News “Stage Manages” 9/12 Tea Party Protest for Broadcast

Earlier this week it was revealed that an aerial photo from a 1997 protest had been passed off by right wingers as as photo of the "9/12" 2009 teabagger protest, presumably to make the crowd appear to be larger than it actually was.
In more smoke-and-mirror shenanigans, it appears that Fox News provided stage directions for 9/12 protesters appearing on Fox News broadcasts.
Media watchdog MediaMatters has obtained footage “from an anonymous tipster” of what it says is a Fox News producer giving stage directions to a crowd of Tea Party protesters (appearing on camera) at the 9/12 event in Washington, DC, last weekend.

All news organizations and media outlets have their moments . . .don't they?

So? Does that minimize the thousands that were there. Always a few bad apples and sometimes many are present in both sides . They are both losers. The people there who were sincere cannot be ignored whatever you find.
There are PLENTY of authentic photo's of the event. Pump this all you want for it does not stop the movement that goes against the Spend what ya don't have policies of this Administration

So? It is NEVER the job for a news organization in any medium (TV, print, web, etc) to stage manage events; that is fabricating news.
If the movement is so authentic, why did they have to use a picture from 1997 and fabricate their numbers?
No one is denying there are not authentic pictures from the event, much of them are extremely racist and hateful.
Sincerity does not justify actions, it never has. Hitler, Reagan and Stalin were sincere.

Fox had nothing to do with what happened on the Stage at 912DC. The Fox news guy helped set up shots at the bus area. Nothing more than when Obama stages his backdrops for his speeches. I now the mai coordinators for the event and Fox was not part of the staging on the Mall. The photo was from 1997 and was abruptly taken down as the actual shots had larger crowds. Obama toughted 1.8 million. The bus/rail traffic for 912DC was just under half that. That does not include the chartered buses paid for by individuals. I know it comes of surprise but a Liberal group has never come close to the numbers on the mall and sorounding areas. What you don't now is that there were many events going on at once. The Mall was just one part of the day. Oh and the violent rright wing crowd??? Number arrested ZERO. Garbage non existant. Facts are quote important here. What is happing hereis touting political opinion and use materials that are incredable to push the agenda.

The Fox News producer is clearly stage managing the crowd on the video (click the link and watch). That is undeniable and unprofessional.
I am fully aware there were other events and never insinuated that there were not other events, that's a straw man argument.
The photo from 1997 was abruptly taken down AFTER liberal bloggers called it out, let's not rewrite history.
Liberal groups have had far bigger crowds, including this past January, Barack Obama's inauguration.
Your post has very little to do with the story, which is, Fox news stage managing protesters for the cameras.
No garbage after 60-70 thousand protesters? Maybe in your fantasy.
Agenda? What agenda am I pushing exactly?

Bad mistake on Fox's behalf. Lost them alot of credibility with viewers and reporters so it will be interesting to see how they deal with this externally. www.newsy.com/videos/crossing_the_line
