It is very important news for india, whole NSG wants some nuclear pie in trade of uranium with India.US house is going to pass the bill in a day or two.Energy crisis situation in india and its future requirement of energy to sustain the growh process makes india a hot destination of trade. Some NSG members have some apprehension regading the issue, but recently china's and Australia's stand cleared all doubts.France has shown the initiative, and rest will follow.

France and India have signed a cooperation agreement over civilian nuclear technology, French president Nicolas Sarkozy's office said in a statement on Tuesday.

The agreement, which could open the way to deals for French nuclear technology group Areva, was signed following a meeting between Sarkozy and visiting Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
