France shocked by images of war

Staring out from a glossy eight-page spread in the latest edition of the magazine Paris Match, several Taleban fighters show off their trophies of war.

The loss of the 10 soldiers in Afghanistan shocked France

Guns, walkie-talkies and even a wrist-watch are photographed - all spoils taken from the 10 French soldiers they killed in an ambush last month.

Accompanying the pictures is a long interview with the Taleban leader who calls himself Commander Farouki.

He claims they were tipped off about the French mission in their area and were able to prepare an ambush with 140 highly trained insurgents.

"If night hadn't fallen we'd have killed every one of the soldiers," he boasts.

indoctrination meaning they signed up for a sword? You consider all the kids that have been killed by Western Forces, who had no guns, or intent to kill anyone...and we have more tears for soldiers? I think the solution is to stop the killing and stop invading other countries.

The method used is called patriotism its false and normally one is indoctrinated with such things as flag ceremonies during early childhood or early morning assemblies (UK). When I joined military the indoctrination went to brainwashing levels. Luckily I never killed one civilian through out my military career and I was not involved in any invasion.

Soldiers should only be used for defense and not to fight wars for the corporations.
