Democrat: President Obama Can 'Shove' Endorsement

Rhode Island Governor Race: Democrat Frank Caprio Tells Obama To "Shove It" Audio

The gubenatorial race in Rhode Island took an interesting twist as Democratic candidate Frank Caprio told a phone in radio show that President Obama can "shove it." Frank Caprio's "shove it" comments came after the New England Providence Journal reported that President Obama would not be endorsing Frank Caprio is bid for Governor of Rhode Island.

Frank Caprio responded quickly and forcefully

Caprio angrily told WPRO-AM that Obama can "take his endorsement and really shove it."

It was a surprising about-face for Caprio, the state's general treasurer, whose campaign had said as recently as Sunday night that he was looking forward to Obama's visit and that he would accompany the president to two appearances.

President Obama's trip to Rhode Island should be an interesting one but Caprio told Obama to "shove it" after a report John Mulligan, from the Providence Journal's Washington Bureau, that Caprio would not be receiving Obama's support after all.

Mulligan quoted independent candidate Lincoln Chafee's spokesman saying Obama's decision "is a victory for Linc Chafee," who is one of Caprio's opponents in the race for governor.

More divisiveness from Obama. Obama has become his own Tea Party. Picking and choosing Democrats that troop to the progressive agenda.
