Following the lead of the French, I think it's time we step up the boycott of Chinese manufactured materials of all kinds. If the French can consider boycotting the Olympics, we can certainly hit all the corporations and governments in the place it most hurts who do "business" with China, in their wallet.
I was considering buying a new bicycle. It looks good, rides great, and is what I've been considering. But the moment I saw it was manufactured in China I thought it would be a small but important gesture to buy a bike from somewhere else.
It's shocking just how much material is built in China. Brands who's corporations have headquarters in the USA sell tons and tons of goods that they have "off-shored" the manufacturing of to China. So, from now on, no more money to those companies who try to sell me something made by the country who's government murders it's citizens and monks. Period. End of sentence.
