Freemasons

Secret societies are permitted, I guess, in a free country, but anyone belonging to them is suspect in my opinion. By their very nature, the chances are that their secret rules undermine freedom as we know it. Their discriminatory practices are certainly inconsistent.

Of course, George Washington and many former Presidents in the early years were Freemasons. Then, it was an exclusive club of elitists.

Evidence is that the “club” in Norway harbors fascists.

Oddly, the day before the Norway attack in response to an announcement from Janet Napolitano to be vigilant, I wrote about Timothy McVeigh to remind that not all terrorists are radical Muslims. Next day, a radicalized Christian fascist Freemason went on the rampage in Oslo.

“Norway attacks: Shaken nation sees hint of Oklahoma City

By Will Englund and Michael Birnbaum, Published: July 23 | Updated: Sunday, July 24, 7:19 AM

OSLO — The suspect in Norway’s recent bombing and shooting attacks has acknowledged to police that he carried them out, but insists he is not criminally responsible, his lawyer said late Saturday night.

The incidents took place after years of planning, according to a 1,500-page manifesto that the suspect, Anders Behring Breivik, had posted on the Web. Though the manifesto is in English, and there had been some doubts about its authenticity, Breivik admitted that it was his doing, his lawyer, Geir Lippestad, told the state broadcasting company.

Breivik argued that he was forced to act to help save Europe from multiculturalism His targets at the shooting site were teenage members of the social democratic Labor Party.

At a memorial service for the victims Sunday, Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg said, “Every one of those gone is a tragedy. Together it counts as a national disaster.”

He spoke of friends who were killed at Utoya, appearing to be on the edge of tears himself as sobs rang out in the church.

“In the middle of all the tragedy, I am proud to live in a country which has managed to stand tall in a critical time,” he said. “Our response is more democracy, more openness and more humanity, but never naivite.”

Oslo’s acting police chief said Sunday that police are still searching for bodies on the island where the attack took place. The death toll stands at 92, with at least four people missing. Police haven’t ruled out the possibility that Breivik may have had an accomplice, but have no suspects, said Sveinung Sponheim.

On Sunday morning police raided an industrial site in eastern Oslo. A spokesman told Norwegian newspapers that the action was connected to Friday's attacks. Apparently, they were looking for explosives that might have been stored there. A residential building on the site, which appears to be a prefabricated structure, was cleared of its inhabitants. Neighbors told the VG newspaper that they thought most of the people living on the premises were from Eastern Europe.

Breivik is due to appear in court Monday for a hearing. He is also being examined by a police doctor.

His huge manifesto touches on everything from medieval history to the wars in Yugoslavia to weaponry to why Budapest is his favorite city. He writes a lot about sugar beets because they require large amounts of fertilizer; he suggests that anyone wanting to make explosives should grow beets commercially to justify large fertilizer purchases.

He apparently grew beets himself. The manifesto also includes a detailed diary of the past 80 days, in which he describes his meticulous planning for the car bombing in downtown Oslo and the subsequent shooting rampage on the island of Utoeya.

Overall, the huge collection of writing is a screed against Islam and the consequences of immigration to Europe. Breivik writes that a fourth-generation war is necessary to preserve the European people. He defends the Serbs for the war in Bosnia. He also says the man he’d most like to meet is Vladimir V. Putin, Russia’s prime minister. He attacks neo-nazis for glorifying Adolf Hitler, because, he writes, by killing Jews Hitler was opening the door to an Islamic resurgence. Breivik also criticizes some Jews — those who are anti-Zionist.”

Anything sounding like -social democratic Labor Party is a natural target for violence. It wasn't long ago that another social democratic labor party brought the whole world to the brink of destruction with it's fascism in the name of democracy and freedom. You can't blame the Norwegian Freemason for wanting to nip it in the bud.

That is just as crazy a statement as the radical rght wing terrorist himself. I suspect you might be from the same ilk.

Crazy history.

I believe people do crazy things when their government places them second to political correctness, multiculturalism, or any other social ideology. Dishonesty breeds contempt. And in this type of instance the governments history of social dishonesty to perpetuate an ideal is at the root of the problem.

The extremist will always be violent in their reactions because they haven't the political connections to infiltrate and steer the governments course as the socialist have with their government corporations and unions structured to keep the people down and dependent upon them for sustenance.

People across the "western world" are rejecting the institutions of social government and no longer trust that social governments will be the answer to their needs. You can tell the pendulum has started to swing because the "liberals" are screaming louder and more stridently that big government is the only solution, that the achievement of a government serviced cradle to grave welfare state is not only a right but a moral victory for the people.

And you're surprised that there is a negative response. That people have nothing but contempt for their government and leadership. That to hold ideology above pragmatic solutions had no bearing on the out come.

Nah, I'm not from the ilk of the radical right. I'm your worst nightmare. I'm from the ilk that lets you have your way. You can't teach people the value of democracy, individual freedoms, or property rights. They have to loose it all and then begin the arduous road back to reclaiming what their forefathers fought so hard to achieve and their spoiled offspring threw away for social victim idealism.

If and when government fails me personally by not delivering my Social Security check, you will see me at the White House and on Capitol Hill bitching like a wild man.

I know this hasn't sunk in yet, but Obama has raped the SS Trust of it's last real money and replaced it with uninsured Treasury IOU's. For Obama or any government coming next to fulfill your SS expectations the money will have to come from some other service. No government is going to tax the "rich" to the extent to fully support the SS net. And the lower half of the taxpayer base does not pay enough into the system to support their demands on the services. So your going to get your tax increase you've been whining for, only you'll be paying it, along with higher goods and service costs. Your world just got shittier by your own hand. Take heart -you have the chant to keep you warm at night. Let's say it together. "It's all the Republican's fault". There everything is ok now.

Fascism R US

I hate to say this, thirty aught, since it's clear your heart is in the right place and you're right about social security money being a goner;  but you're as delusional as the liberals and most conservatives, including the bright but extraordinarily naive, Ann Coulter. There is not a whit of difference between the Repubs and the Dems -- the left or the right, because it's not about ideology but about control and power and money.  When it counts, that is, when the decisions are being made about money,  it's just one big family of taxpayer-raping, corporation-coddling thieves. ALL presidential candidates are pre-selected by the Council on Foreign Relations.  Almost all congressmen are bought and paid for by corporations and some big unions.  Your vote is worthless; you don't think that BP and Exxon or the Federal Reserve bankers or Lockheed Martin would let you get near electing anyone who might interfere with their massive profits and tax write-offs, do you.   We have a secret government consisting of RICH PEOPLE FOR THE RICH who own all our media and who stage-manage the US elections the same way the Oscars are run. You need to do some serious investigation beyond the political labels and slogans pummeled into you by Big Media.   FOLLOW THE MONEY  -- the Oil Money, the Wall Street Money, the Federal Reserve banksters, and the Pentagon Mafia Contractor money.

Ya I haven't gone the whole conspiracy jag thingy. I'm not the least bit surprised in a private capital investment economy, ie. capitalism, to find business has governmental influence. For me it's a given. What surprises me is the rabid demonization of business and businessmen by the so called progressive liberal in a capitalist society. These people are fish out of water.

This is where the ideology comes in to play. Union vs. Private property rights. Socialism vs. Capitalism. The rights of the Individual vs. The right of the State. These are the game chips.

Woman vs. Man, Black vs. White, Rich vs. Poor, Gay vs. Straight, all the social crap that is hyped and overblown by the media in the name of culture or political correctness. That's the slight of hand. The distraction that keeps you preoccupied while the government gets on with the job of giving into the demands made against them over time. And all elected governments do whatever they can to satisfy the mob so they can be re-elected. And they never never tell you the cost to you your demands will eventually bring. They want re-election. They don't want to frighten the sheep with the truth.

The greater the demand on government to play a social role in society brings with it a erosion of property rights, a erosion of individual rights and freedoms, a erosion of free market private capital investment, in fact a corresponding erosion of democratic values and principles.

Everything the government does for you puts another link in the chain around your neck. The government gives but first and foremost the government taketh. That clinking sound you hear is "the chains you can believe in" as promised by Obama.

You want the government to look after you? Well, the government is going to need everything you got. And if you think I'm delusional I feel for you. Reality is going to F you UBAR.
