Friend is visibly shaken after watching his friend get shot in the head

In the neighborhood of Arleta at around 5pm an expedition pulled up along side a vehicle that was parked and hispanic males exchanged words with a rival gang member. His friend who was standing close by thought the people in the expedition were joking around as the men in the vehicle open fired on his friend shooting him 4 times before finally shooting the young man in the head.

The critically injured man was taken to a local hospital where his condition is currently unavailabe. Several people were detained in handcuffs and the friend of the victim was distraught as he sat on a curb as i spoke with him briefly.
